The Britz Bonus Pack Pack is available for an additional NZD$53. This includes:

Minimum Rental Period:
There is a minimum rental period of 5 Days, except for rentals between 23 December and 10 January 2008 where a minimum of 10 days applies.
Minimum rental period are subject to change during peak periods.
One Way Rentals: (Except the Rookie)
One Way Rentals are available between all depots. A fee of NZD$220 applies where the rental takes place between 01 November and 31 March.
Wellington and Queenstown Surcharges:
Vehicle collections and returns in Wellington incur a NZ$100 location fee and in Queenstown incur a NZ$175
fee (same city collection and return, one fee applies). This is in addition to the one-way fee if applicable.
PGO - Pre-Purchase Gas Option:
HiTop: NZD$19 per vehicle
Elite / Explorer / Frontier: NZD$29 per vehicle.
The gas bottle can be returned empty to Britz at the completion of the rental. The fee applies for each part of a multiple rental.
Diesel Tax Recovery Fee:
The
Diesel Tax Recovery Fee will be calculated and collected on return of the vehicle based on the kilometres travelled during
the hire.
Hi Top and Rookie: NIL
2 Berth Hi Top Diesel and Elite 2 Berth: NZD$3.70 per 100kms
Explorer 4 Berth, Voyager and 4WD Adventurer: NZD$3.90 per 100kms
Frontier 6 Berth: NZD$4.25 per 100kms

Vehicle Insurance:
The Standard rates includes Vehicle Insurance with an Excess / Deductible of NZD$5000 per incident. This excess can be reduced by purchasing one of the following options:
Reduction Option 1: (not available for Rookie)
2WD -
Pay an additional NZD$20 per day (max $1000), and this will reduce the excess to NZD$2500 per incident. Bond NZD$2500 (debited).
Reduction Option 2:
Rookie - Pay an additional AUD$19 per day (max $570), and this will reduce the excess to NIL. Bond AUD$220 (Imprint).
2WD -
Pay an additional NZD$35 per day (max $1750), and this will reduce the excess to NIL. Bond NZD$220 (Imprint).
No Worries Cover:
No Worries Cover can only be purchased when you have purchased the Excess Reduction Option 2 above. No Worries Cover covers accidental overhead and underbody damage done to the vehicle. NZD$50 per rental.
Windscreen and Tyre Damage:
Where the hire has a nil excess up to one windscreen and two tyres
will be covered for accidental damage. Should these amounts be exceeded the cost to repair or replace the
items will not be covered and will be the responsibility of the hirer.
**For Australian Residents, check you Travel Insurance Policy as you may be covered for rental vehicle excess up to a certain amount. If you do not yet have travel insurance, ask us for a quote. We offer a 20% discount on Travel Insurance when booked with your motorhome rental.
Security Deposit:
You are required to leave a security deposit at the time of pick up. Details noted under insurance options above.
Minimum and Maximum Age:
The minimum age to drive the vehicle is 21 years. For drivers of 75 years and over, a medical certificate is required stating that they are fit to drive.
Credit Card Payments to the Depot:
When pre-paying your motorhome rental, AUS and NZ Travel do not charge credit card fees on Visa or Mastercard Payments (Amex on request). Any payments made directly to the depot at the time of pick up or drop off for optional extras, fees and securty deposits are subject to a credit card fee of 1.5% applies. (Mastercard, Visa and Amex only)
Depot Hours:
Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch Depots are open Monday to Sunday 8:00am to 5:30pm.
The Queenstown depot is open 8:00am to 5:30pm during the sumer months, and 8:00am to 5:00pm during the winter months.
Pick up and drop off is available at any time during depot hours.
Depots will be closed on Christmas day.
Transfers:
Airport transfers are available on pick up and drop off from the Auckland and Christchurch Branches. The Queenstown depot is located at the Airport. The Wellington depot is located 40 minutes from the Airport and you must make your own way.
Travel Restrictions:
-Campervans can only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well-maintained roads. No vehicle shall be driven on
Skippers Road (Queenstown), Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), Ball Hut Road (Mt. Cook) and North of Colville
Township (Coromandel Peninsula), and Tapu-Coroglen Road (Coromandel Peninsula).
Britz reserves the right at its sole discretion to restrict vehicle movements in certain areas due to adverse road
or weather conditions.
Pets:
No pets permitted in the vehicle, excluding guide dogs.
