Inclusive Option:
The Apollo All Inclusive Pack is available for an additional AUD$52 per day. This includes:
- VIP Insurance (NIL Excess)
- Stamp Duty
- One Way Fees
- LP Gas Refill Option
- Camp Table and Chairs
- Baby / Booster Seats (must be pre-booked)
(maximum charge for Inclusive Pack is 50 days - AUD$2600)

Minimum Rental Period:
There is a minimum rental period of 7 Days, except for the following where a minimum period of 10 days apply:
- 15 December 08 to 05 January 09
- Bathurst and Phillip Island Races when renting from East Coast Depots.

One way rentals which are subject to higher minimum periods, depending on the pick up and drop off locations. Please see the following:

One Way Rentals:
One Way Rentals are available between all depots. A fee of AUD$200 applies for all one way rentals of 20 days or under. No fee applies for one way rentals of 21 days or over. Minimum rental period apply as per the above table.

Broome Surcharge:
An additional charge of $750 applies to all rentals picking up or dropping off in Broome. This is in addition to the one way fee if applicable. Only the Hitop Campervan and 4wd Adventure Camper are available to be rented to and from the Broome branch.

Stamp Duty:
A Government Stamp Duty of 2.5% applies on all rental costs. This is paid directly to the depot at the time of pick up.
Stamp Duty is included in the Inclusive rates.

LP Gas Re-Fill:
The gas bottle(s) is supplied full. A service fee is payable on pick up of the vehicle:
$15 – Hitop Campervan/Euro Tourer/Adventure Camper
$30 – 3, 4 and 6 Berth Motorhomes

The gas bottle can be returned empty to Apollo at the completion of the rental. The fee applies for each part of a multiple rental.

Vehicle Equipment:
Standard Rental Rates include living equipment such as bedding, cooking equipment, eating utensils, bath and tea towels.
You will also receive an Apollo Welcome Pack for the first night which includes matches, mini shampoo and conditioner, dishwashing liquid, sponge, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea and sugar satchels.

**Baby / Booster Seats suitable between 6months and 8 years. These can not be fitted to the Hitop, Euro Tourer and Adventure Camper vehicles.

Vehicle Insurance:
The Standard rates includes Vehicle Insurance with an Excess / Deductible of AUD$7500 per incident. This excess can be reduced by purchasing one of the following options:

Reduction Option 1: Pay an additional AUD$20 per day (max $1000), and this will reduce the excess to AUD$2500 per incident. Bond AUD$2500.

Reduction Option 2: Pay an additional AUD$35 per day (max $1750), and this will reduce the excess to NIL per incident. Bond AUD$250.

**For Australian Residents, check you Travel Insurance Policy as you may be covered for rental vehicle excess up to a certain amount. If you do not yet have travel insurance, ask us for a quote. We offer a 20% discount on Travel Insurance when booked with your motorhome rental.

Security Deposit:
You are required to leave a security deposit (same as your excess amount) at the time of pick up. The security deposit is equal to your excess amount.

Drivers Licence Requirements:
A valid, non-provisional, state or overseas driver’s licence is required. If the driver’s licence is not in the English language (e.g. German, French, Chinese, etc) then an international driver’s licence is also required. The driver’s licence must have been held for at least two years and be valid for the whole length of the rental. The original driver’s licence must be shown at time of pick-up when the driver is present.

Minimum and Maximum Age:
The minimum age to drive the vehicle is 21 years and the maximum age is 75 years.

Credit Card Payments to the Depot:
When pre-paying your motorhome rental, AUS and NZ Travel do not charge credit card fees on Visa or Mastercard Payments (Amex and Diners on request). Any payments made directly to the depot at the time of pick up or drop off for optional extras, fees and securty deposits are subject to a credit card fee of 1.75% for Mastercard and Visa. Amex and Diners will incur a charge of 4.5%.

Depot Hours:
Depots are open Monday to Sunday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Between 01 Dec 08 and 31 Mar 09 the Alice Springs depot will be closed on Sundays, and the Broome and Darwin depots will be closed on Saturday and Sundays.

Pick up and drop off is available at any time during depot hours.
Depots will be closed on Christmas day, New Years day, and Good Friday.

Transfers:
Airport / City Transfers are not offered by Apollo Australia.

Travel Restrictions:
Two Wheel Drive Vehicles can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads or well maintained access roads less than 500 metres long to recognised campgrounds.

Four Wheel Drive Vehicles can also be driven on recognized unsealed tracks but may only travel to the following remote areas with the express written permission of Apollo: Any Islands, Tasmania, Simpson Desert, Gunbarrel Highway, Cape York (North of Daintree River), Oodnadatta Track,
Birdsville Track, Tanami Track, Gibb River Road, Kalumburu Road, Warburton Road, Strzelecki Track, Cape Leveque, Bungle Bungles and any other remote area. No Vehicle is permitted on the the Canning Stock-route, The Lost City in Litchfield Park, the Telegraph Road section of the road to Cape York or the last 2 kilometres of the Lennard River Gorge Road.
